My hometown is Valdosta, and I came to Athens in 1974; attended UGA majoring in marketing, member of AOII sorority, and continued to grow my loyalty to the UGA Bulldog community; UGA Alumni.
After graduation, becoming a part of the Athens community was top priority. As I began my family, I became a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Athens Cancer Auxiliary, Athens YWCO Aux, Athens Junior League, Athens Country Club, Athens Country Club Ladies Tennis Association, ACC Ladies Golf Association, Duplicate Bridge Club, Jennings Mill Country Club, and Athens Technical College Foundation Committee. Before my real estate career, marketing and advertising were my focus, and I owned my own company, Hannah Advertising Specialties, for 18 years. Real Estate was a huge part of my family background in Valdosta, and I obtained a real estate license in 1989 and began my real estate career with Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty. Hoping to help people with the process of buying and selling their homes became my main focus, while at the same time helping our community grow and maintain our superior reputation as a place to live and relocate to.
The highlight of my life are my two grown children and four grandchildren, all residing in Athens.
My interests and hobbies include sports, Go DAWGS, SEC football, exercise, dance, knitting, love dogs, beach time, and most importantly, spending time with my family.
